RITZVILLE, Wash. – Deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) took part in specialized training at the Adams County Superior Court and Jail on Monday.

“This specialized training placed our corrections deputies in a variety of realistic scenarios designed to test their ability to make split-second decisions, the same kind of decisions they may face in the course of their daily duties,” the ACSO stated.

Safety gear was used to help create authentic “high-stress” scenarios, ensuring both protection for the deputies and an effective learning environment.
