Danny Lennon was a mentor to Charlie Telfer as a kid, and the midfielder hopes to learn more now the pair have linked up again at Airdrie.
Lennon was brought in as boss at New Broomfield last week, and his first task was to prise Telfer away from Hamilton Accies, where he had exhausted his chances to play as a trialist, given their transfer embargo.
For Telfer it’s also a return to a club where he enjoyed a successful spell from 2022 to 2024, before moving on to Ross County.
And he’s back working under a gaffer he knows really well.
