A Reddit post has sparked debate over the limits of neighborly accommodation after a user shared a handwritten note from a neighbor asking him to stop walking around late at night.

Posted on August 31 by u/WiredSnoopy in the subreddit r/whatdoIdo , the post titled: "Is my new bedtime 11?" has drawn 3,100 upvotes.

In the post, the user explained: "I'm a 200lb+ guy with a creaky bed. I've been tip toe-ing since he asked me, but now I'm not sure the best approach. Do I just suck it up and go to bed at 11 p.m. so as to not make this guy's life hell?"
