The question: What happened to the plans to redraw high school borders? We know Preble is overcrowded and the west-side schools are underpopulated. There was talk about redrawing who feeds into what high school or to close West, but that buzz has died out. What is the current status of fixing the uneven population distribution of the high schools?

Going into the start of the 2025-26 school year means the Green Bay School District’s school consolidation process has been in the works for four years . With over a dozen plans presented, it has been a complicated process for everyone involved.

The first school closure decisions were made in August 2023, and the most recent boundary and closure decisions were made in June 2024. Since then, there hasn’t been any discussion of boundary change
