The Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge will close "for maintenance activities" next week, according to Green Bay's Department of Public Works.

The announced work on the bridge connecting Dousman and Main streets, which sees 16,900 drivers every day , follows previous maintenance by the department on the bridge in late August, which closed some lanes for several days.

Where will the Main Street bridge close?

The Main Street bridge will be entirely inaccessible from North Broadway to North Washington Streets.

Previous maintenance work in August had closed the bridge's outside lanes, reducing the bridge to single-lane traffic.
