Travis Kelce is swearing to be overdramatic and true to his lover Taylor Swift .

After the couple, both 35, announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post Aug. 26, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end couldn’t contain his joy while addressing the couple’s milestone for the first time.

“I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something, and all the posts and all the excitement that’s been going on," Travis told brother Jason Kelce during the Sept. 3 episode of their New Heights podcast . "It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with...It’s been awesome.”
