A Jamaican man who has lived most of his life in Brooklyn as a permanent U.S. resident has been deported to Eswatini, a small country in southern Africa, under the Trump administration’s third-country deportation program, his lawyers said Tuesday.

The Legal Aid Society said 62-year-old Orville Etoria was deported nearly seven weeks ago without charges or access to legal counsel. His attorney said Etoria had never been to Eswatini and had no ties to the nation.
