A military flyover arranged by President Donald Trump interrupted a press conference with survivors of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
On Wednesday, Epstein survivor Anouska De Georgiou's speech outside the Capitol was overshadowed by the presence of four Air Force jets. According to the White House, Trump ordered the flyover to honor a fallen Polish pilot.
"I was horrified when I found out not only had Ghislaine Maxwell been transferred to what's called a low security, it really is like a holiday camp," the survivor explained. "And then afterwards, I got a notification from the Department of Justice telling me that this was going to happen when it had already happened. This woman abused children."
At that point, a roar of jets silenced De Georgiou. She threw her arm into the air as the crowd glanced upward.
"I was abused by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell for over 10 years!" the survivor shouted over the sound of jets.
