Two males have been arrested in connection with multiple alleged fire raising incidents in the capital.
A 25-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were tracked down as part of Operation Portaledge which was set up to tackle the ongoing gangland feud between Ross McGill and Mark Richardson's clans.
The latest pair to be apprehended by police takes the total number of arrests to 57.
The pair were charged in connection with an attempted wilful fire-raising of a property on Barnton Avenue on Sunday August 17 2025.
They were also charged with wilful fire-raising of a premises on Gorgie Road and the attempted wilful fire-raising of a vehicle on Gorgie Road on Monday August 18 after a taxi company was targeted.
Both men appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 19 August, 2025.
