JOHNSON COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - A missing southern Illinois man is believed to be in danger.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department, Wayne Horney was last seen around 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2.
They say he was experiencing a mental health crisis and left his home on Chapel Hill Road, going in an unknown direction.
He is believed to be traveling on foot.
Deputies say he was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeved gray shirt, a brown Pepsi ball cap and blue/orange tennis shoes.
He has a tattoo of a star on the back of his right hand.
According to the sheriff’s department, he was entered as Missing Endangered.
