Organizers of this year’s 22nd running of the iconic County Marathon series of races promise a new initiative that will make the event as much about community connection and inclusivity as endurance and achievement. Unveiling the heartwarming initiative for the October 5th event, Race Director Brian McLean says area Special Olympics athletes and Wellington Dukes Junior A hockey players have been recruited for finish line duties.
