The Trump administration might pull the plug on the construction and operations permit for SouthCoast Wind, a project slated for 20 nautical miles south of Nantucket that could involve up to 141 wind turbines and up to five substation platforms.
In a federal court filing Friday, the Department of Justice disclosed that the Department of the Interior plans to reconsider the project's permit, which was approved on the last business day of the Biden administration.
