Brant United Way has brought ‘Burger Wars’ back for another year as the organization’s annual fundraising campaign gets underway.

“We couldn’t be happier with the response we received from the community last year for our first event,” Beth Luciani, executive director of Brant United Way, said in a prepared statement. “The community and participating restaurants enjoyed the competition so much we knew we had to continue with Burger Wars again this year.

“It’s a wonderful way to kick off our campaign and bring awareness to Brant United Way.”

The year’s competition has attracted 11 independent restaurants throughout Brantford and Brant County. All will be crafting their most irresistible Brant United Way burger, which will be served throughout September.
