HOUSTON (KIAH) -- The suspect in the shooting of 11-year-old Julian Guzman during a game of ding-dong-ditch, Gonzalo Leon Jr. appeared before a judge at the Harris County Criminal Court on Wednesday morning.
The judge granted Leon a $1 million bond after the deadly shooting of the little boy on Sunday night.
In the courtroom, prosecutors said that on Sunday, Aug. 30, Guzman and his 10-year-old cousin were walking home from a family party when they decided to play a game of ding-dong-ditch prank at Gonzalo's home. The ding-dong-ditch prank involves someone running up to someone's house, knocking on the front door and then running away.
