FORT SMITH -- A Van Buren woman received a 20-year prison sentence Tuesday after pleading guilty to a reduced charge related to accusations she robbed a man at gunpoint after the two agreed to meet and exchange money for a sex act.
Moriah J. Burrows, 25, pleaded guilty to robbery, a Class B felony, and received 20 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections plus a 20-year suspended prison term that she won't have to serve if she abides by the plea agreement, according to Sebastian County Circuit Court records.
She was given credit for time served and ordered to pay $400 restitution to the victim, as per the agreement with prosecutors. In addition, multiple petitions to revoke past plea agreements in other cases against Burrows were dismissed upon the guilty plea she entered, court re
