This fall, pine-scented mountain town of Idyllwild will once again open its doors — literally— to architecture enthusiasts, history buffs and curious travelers during the annual Idyllwild Home Tour, hosted by the Idyllwild Area Historical Society. Set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, the event offers a rare glimpse into five private residences that reflect the town’s eclectic character, artistic spirit and deep connection to nature.
