SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department has arrested three suspects in connection with a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy dead on LaRoche Avenue.

Ra’jai Zeigler, 17, is charged with murder and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Dequan Petty, 18, and Jon Petty, 20, are each charged with murder and criminal attempt armed robbery.

According to police, officers were called to the 4000 block of LaRoche Avenue around 10:10 p.m. on August 22.

When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite receiving initial medical treatment, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chatham County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as 16-year-old Alexis Milton Jr.
