DELTA is cancelling one of its routes between two U.S. airports.
Flyers will no longer be able to book flights between the two American hubs starting November 9.
The carrier is shutting down its route between Austin and Midland, Texas , one of its flights to service the Western part of the state.
Dampening demand was the reason behind the route cancellation.
“Delta will discontinue its Austin–Midland (AUS–MAF) route effective Nov. 9, 2025, as we adapt our schedule to align with consumer demand," a Delta spokesperson said told the U.S. Sun.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and remain committed to serving Central Texas as the leading global carrier in Austin.”
Multiple other carriers will continue to provide flights between the two airports, including Southwest,
