Iam thrilled that USU is hosting Charlie Kirk ND Turning Point USA this fall. I have watched many of Mr. Kirk's debates online and am always impressed by his restraint as he defends his view points. He embraces Biblical teachings, which teachings align with the feelings and beliefs of many Cache Valley residents.

Too many young people are adrift without any anchor to help guide their choices throughout their formative college years. The breakdown of many of the United States' institutions, including the nuclear family and local church organizations, has eroded their support structures. And, increasingly vitriolic online debate has made them distrustful of older generations and each other. Mr. Kirk advocates a conservativism that will help students build their foundation.
