NYC says it will take down fake street signs seen around Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — City officials said Tuesday that they’ll take down a series of fake street signs that have popped up around the Island from imprecise origins.

A Department of Transportation spokesperson said the agency would be taking down the illegal street signs that look like a yellow traffic sign with a red beret in the middle.
