As children head back to classrooms for a new school year today in the UK after their summer break, the Wales children will join them.

But when George, Charlotte and Louis return to school today it will also mark the last time the royal siblings will be together at the same school.

From next year, Prince George, 12, will be off to high school at an as yet unnamed secondary college, marking an end to the four years he spent at Lambrook School in Windsor with his younger siblings.

When William and Catherine, then the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, uprooted their family in August 2022 and moved from a large apartment within London's Kensington Palace to the much smaller Adelaide Cottage within Windsor Great Park, it marked a new direction for the close-knit royal family.
