WASHINGTON COUNTY, Neb. —
Current Fort Calhoun Mayor Mitch Robinson is running for Washington County sheriff.
Robinson has more than 40 years of law enforcement experience.
He retired from Omaha police in 2022.
He's currently the chief deputy in Washington County along with mayor.
He's also the brother of current sheriff, Mike Robinson, who isn't running for re-election.
There are two other candidates in the race right now, Kevin Willis and Brian Beckman.
