ATLANTA — With a jackpot soaring up to $1.1 billion , millions of lottery players around the country will be anxiously watching the Powerball drawing tonight.

Most, if they bought a ticket, will have just used the automatically generated numbers that ticket sellers can print out. Some however will choose their numbers, using personal signifiers like birthdays and anniversaries, maybe superstitiously significant numbers, heck, maybe baseball stats; whatever floats your boat.

One could also buy tickets from a store with a track record of producing winners, like a Shell gas station and convenience store in Mabelton that sold a $116 million ticket in 2010.
