HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Students at Holyoke Community College now have access to a new technology center. Funding for this new center comes from a $250 thousand dollar grant the community college received from the employment and training administration.

Western Mass News caught up with Walt Pfau who said this grand opening couldn’t have come at a better time, “it’s the hurdles of students being successful in class the first week so that’s initial sign on, setting up multi factor authentication, we use Microsoft authenticator for that, signing onto their email on their phone, accessing the Wi-Fi network correctly and if there’s any issues with their account and their profile and their account showing them how they can get it resolved and how to get a ticket to the help desk”
