BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - If you see a state police cruiser on the road you may see different license plates than usual.
That’s because Maine State Police have installed these unique license plates for cancer awareness.
Police are teaming up with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
The new plates will be on state police cruisers until September 14th.
After that, they will be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
You can claim one of the plates on September 15th by heading to mainestatetroopersfoundation.org .
