CARMEL, Ind. — The Carmel Police Department is searching for a missing 17-year-old.

In a Facebook post, CPD indicated that Jennifer Delafuente was last seen wearing tennis shoes, jeans, a dark hoodie and a black backpack. Police did not specify exactly how long Delafuente has been missing.

CPD described Delafuente as a 5-foot-8, 180-pound, brown-haired, brown-eyed girl.

CPD is encouraging those with information on Delafuente's whereabouts to contact investigators by calling (317) 571-2580.
