LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A University of Louisville student has been arrested in a terrifying attack on UofL's Belknap campus on Labor Day.
Thomas Hood, 20, is charged with attempted kidnapping, carrying a concealed weapon and first-degree burglary.
During his arraignment Tuesday, a judge has set his bond at $25,000.
UofL Police said Hood grabbed a UofL employee by the arm and chased her into the University Tower Apartments, a student residence hall near S. 4th St., around 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
According to an arrest citation, Hood was wielding a large kitchen knife as he chased the woman.
Police said the victim locked herself in the building's basement and Hood allegedly kept trying to get in.
