GRIFFIN, Ga. — Griffin Police are investigating after an apartment property owner and the mother of a teen victim were arrested in connection with a sex trafficking case.

According to police, 69-year-old Herbert Shaw, the property owner of Quiet Hills, was arrested on sex trafficking, grooming and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Police said these charges stem from criminal actions involving two 15-year-old girls.

One of the teen's moms, 37-year-old Erica Miller, is also facing charges in relation to the case. Investigators believe she was complicit in the event.

The investigation into this case started in early August. Police believe there may be additional witnesses and victims who have not come forward.
