In the past five years a growing number of women have begun to ornament and accent their bodies with tattoos. Toronto tattooer Beachcomber Bill estimates 45 per cent of his clients today are female. “Five years ago if I saw a dozen women in the year last was a lot,” he said. “Now it’s not uncommon to have a day when there are only one or two guys and the rest are women.”
