BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - A music festival benefitting King’s Harvest Pet Rescue is coming to Bettendorf.

The “Rescue Rocks” music festival will feature live music, food and drinks, a silent auction and adoptable animals from King’s Harvest, according to a media release.

The event is free, but organizers will be accepting donations that will go directly to the animal shelter.

“We are thrilled to host the Rescue Rocks Music Festival at the Tangled Wood and support the incredible work of King’s Harvest Pet Rescue,” Joe Janz, the event organizer, said in the release. “This festival is not just about enjoying great music; it’s about making a difference in the lives of animals who need our help.”

The festival is from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Tangled Wood in Bettendorf.
