TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A pedestrian was seriously hurt in an accident near First and Fort Lowell in Tucson on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

The Tucson Police Department confirmed a man was transported to the hospital.

The TPD said more details will be released on Thursday, and 13 News will update this story.

It has been a deadly week on the roads in southern Arizona. There have been seven fatal crashes since Aug. 27.

On Aug. 27, authorities responded to a two-vehicle crash near Sunrise and Swan in Pima County. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said at least one person suffered serious injuries.
