KELLY Clarkson's chat show return date has been revealed after the tragic death of her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.

Last month it was announced that the father of Kelly's two children had died at just 48 years old after a three-year battle with cancer.

Kelly abruptly cancelled her Las Vegas residency to be with their daughter, River Rose, 11, and son, Remington, nine.

It has now been revealed that the singer will be returning for season seven of The Kelly Clarkson Show on September 29.

They will begin production on the NBC series next week in the studio ahead of the premiere episode later this month.
