Bell has launched its new Giga Hub 2.0 modem, introducing Wi-Fi 7 to Canadian homes for the first time on its Pure Fibre network. The modem is available now on Bell Pure Fibre plans in major parts of Ontario and in select areas of Québec.
Customers in Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, London, Windsor, Kitchener, Guelph, Barrie, Collingwood, Bradford, as well as Québec City and surrounding regions, can now access Wi-Fi 7 through the new modem.
Bell says the technology provides speeds up to four times faster than Wi-Fi 6E, lower latency for gaming and video calls, and can support twice as many devices (as long as you have supported Wi-Fi 7 devices of course).
