Lone Star College-Montgomery proudly kicked off its 30th anniversary year with an inspiring Convocation event, welcoming faculty, staff, and new Mavericks back to campus. Opened in 1995, Lone Star College-Montgomery has been a cornerstone of higher education in the community for nearly three decades. The college’s founding was rooted in a commitment from Chancellor Dr. John Pickelman to provide accessible, high-quality education, a promise that continues to drive its mission today.
