Your favourite fido Bluey is heading to the big screen. BBC Studios and Walt Disney Studios , alongside Australia’s Ludo Studio, have confirmed that a feature-length Bluey film will hit theatres on August 6, 2027.

The movie is written and directed by Joe Brumm, the creator of the Emmy and BAFTA-winning series, with returning voice actors Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack as Bluey’s parents, Chilli and Bandit. The production is being led out of Australia, with support from Screen Australia and Screen Queensland, and Disney will handle distribution worldwide.
