Tropical storm Lorena has slowed down as of Thursday morning, but forecasts still call for rain and possible flooding with the bulk eyeing the international border from Nogales to Bisbee.
The National Weather Service in Tucson issued a flood watch in southwestern Pima County for Thursday, with meteorologists expecting heavy rainfall in Sells and Ajo. NWS Tucson also has a flood watch in effect for Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon, covering the Tucson metro area and going south along Interstate 19 to Nogales. ×
