WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Trump is hosting a dinner at the White House tonight with tech giants and other business and political leaders. Notably absent from the guest list is Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Musk said that he was invited to the event but stated he could not attend. He mentioned that one of his representatives would be present instead.

Earlier this year, Musk experienced a public falling out with President Trump following his departure from the administration.

Guests invited to the White House dinner include notable figures such as Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and OpenAI founder Sam Altman, according to a White House official.
