Shoppers have reacted angrily after a person shopping at a Woolworths Metro in Brisbane spotted that the price of cartons of Coca Cola Zero and Pepsi Max cans had gone up to $60.
The post, which was titled “Pepsi / Coke cartons $60 at Woolworths” was scathing about the price of the sugar free soft drink.
The post was captioned “No one is going to buy these, why waste their shelf space?
“Do they not want then to move or are there really suckers who pay this?
“Highest I've ever seen it."
Many commentators agreed with the statement, with one comparing the high price to the news that profits at Australia’s largest supermarket had fallen.
