SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The parents of two students who were involved in a violent altercation at Jenkins High School in Savannah spoke exclusively to WSAV about the incident Thursday.

On Tuesday, a Jenkins parent was detained by police after getting physically involved in a fight between students, visibly dragging a student to the ground.

"My daughter was assaulted...by her daughter and her," Chataura Baul, the mother of the girl who was dragged to the ground, said. "That was brutal. My daughter fell. She had a concussion. She definitely hit her head on that concrete, and there was no way she could even defend herself."

WSAV asked Tameisha Jackson, the mother in the video, what prompted her to intervene.
