Purple Wiggle interview: John Pearce shares how he supported his wife Jessie Adamo Pearce through her tough first pregnancy

Purple Wiggle John Pearce has opened up about supporting his wife through their first pregnancy and welcoming their first son, Henry .

The 34-year-old's wife, Jessie Adamo Pearce , was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in her 20s, which made it difficult to conceive.

PCOS is a hormonal condition that affects one in 10 women.

While its true cause has not yet been identified, it is characterised by metabolic, cardiovascular, hormonal, and psychological features and can cause irregular periods, fertility issues, excess hair growth, acne, hair loss, weight gain. It can even lead to other conditions, like type two diabetes and heart disease.

The couple spent three long years trying to conceive, experiencing a miscarriage along the way.
