Matty J has been a dad for six years, and the more he learns about fatherhood the more he realises he'll never quite get the hang of it.

But that's where the magic happens.

"[I've realised] parenting is forever going to be this chaotic mess," the Aussie media personality, who hosts the Two Doting Dads podcast with his good mate and fellow dad Ash Wick, tells 9honey Parenting over the phone.

"And then, as much as you love your children unconditionally and as much as you dedicate every single minute of the day to your kids, you're never going to get it perfect."

His mate and podcast co-host is on the call too and he agrees, telling 9honey Parenting, "You're always learning, for sure".
