MANA — Wendall Nonaka took the Super Pro Shootout, and Marci Lach, the sole female in the Bike ET class, took first place on Saturday during the Garden Isle Racing Association Labor Day drag races at the Kauai Raceway Park in Mana.

“Unfortunately, the scheduled two-day race weekend was cut short on Sunday due to rain,” said a GIRA spokesperson. “The second day of racing has been postponed to the Oct. 4 race day. GIRA thanks all the visiting race teams and family who traveled from Neighbor Islands to compete at Kauai Raceway Park.”
