More than 300 children in the community enjoyed a summer filled with learning, history, and fun thanks to the Kids Days program, which received vital support from the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke. Article content
The program is run by the Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre in Pembroke and is designed to keep kids engaged with educational activities during the summer months. The summer the program hosted 311 children across 22 themed day programs. Each session combined lessons with games and crafts, offering an average of 15 children per day a chance to learn while having fun. Article content
