TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Toledo couple was arrested after police found their five children living in “conditions unfitting for human habitation.”

One of two people charged in the case was found guilty on lesser charges on July 8. Tiffany Douglas, 35, pleaded No Contest to an Attempt to Commit an Offense charge, amended from endangering children, and was found guilty by the judge. She won’t face any jail time.

Joseph Pfaff, 37, of Toledo, took a similar plea deal on September 5, pleading No Contest to Attempt to Commit an Offense, and was sentenced to time served.

TPD said the two physically neglected two very small children in diapers.

Court records from May 9 said Children Services now had custody of the children but a reunification plan is in place.
