Both sides of Interstate 95 in Westbrook have been closed for hours on Friday morning after a truck crash that has scattered pieces of plywood all over the highway.

State police said a tractor-trailer crashed on I-95 South near exit 64 around 7:42 a.m. and loads of plywood came off of the truck. The plywood has covered boths sides of the highway.

Injuries have been reported, but police do not know the extent of them.

Video from the scene shows three vehicle with significant damage.

Traffic is being diverted off the highway at exit 64.

I-95 North is closed between exits 64 and 65 and I-95 South is closed between exits 64 and 63, according to CTRoads.org.

Anyone traveling in the area should seek alternate routes
