Owen Brackett recorded a hat trick with one assist for Raritan in its 4-2 win against Middletown North in its season opener in Hazlet.

Brackett scored his first goal of the game just 11 minutes in as Raritan (1-0) took the lead. Middletown North (0-1) tied the game with a goal from Paul Que just five minutes later.

Jaden Molina put Raritan back in front, 2-1, after scoring off a pass from Brackett right before the end of the first half.

Brackett scored back-to-back goals in the second half, with his first goal of the half coming of a pass from August Zaleski. Que scored his second goal of the game for Middletown North to cut the lead to 4-2.

Dylan Rojo made nine saves for Raritan.
