The Miami Dolphins will be without one of their top receiving targets for their Week 1 opener against the Indianapolis Colts.

Darren Waller, who returned from retirement and had an interesting time away from the game, having gone through a split with Kelsey Plum that resulted in a curious music video, was listed on the Fins’ previous injury report with a hip injury, prompting some doubt over his availability.

Head coach Mike McDaniel has since confirmed that the tight end is unlikely to play in the opener vs. Indy on Sunday, having suffered a setback before practice on Thursday, while actively trying to prevent one.
