A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering two women who died five months apart in London.

Carmenza Trujillo, 52, was found unresponsive in a building on the Aylesbury Estate, Southwark, on March 17 and died at the scene.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on April 1, and was later released under investigation.

Just over five months later, on August 24, 39-year-old Sheryl Wilkins was found unresponsive on Tottenham High Road and pronounced dead at the scene.

In both cases, a post-mortem was unable to determine how the women died.

Yesterday, the same man was arrested on suspicion of murdering Sheryl and re-arrested on suspicion of murdering Carmenza. He remains in custody.
