Darragh Mackin is arguably the best known solicitor in the country. There are a few who feature occasionally on the nightly news, but the wide variety of cases handled by his company has led to an ever increasing spotlight and, no doubt, an immense workload. He’s the guy with the quality suit, gelled hair and classy tie, guiding Kneecap’s Mo Chara through the media scrum outside the courts in London. Nothing seems to faze him. Sometimes it’s a quiet word in his client’s ear but occasionally he steps centre stage to give clarity on complex issues.
