DODGE COUNTY, Neb. —
A Kansas man died after being hit by a semi-truck at a truck stop in Fremont on Thursday, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said.
Around 6:45 p.m., deputies responded to the Sapp Bros. Travel Center, located near North Broad Street and Sunset Avenue, for an injury crash involving a semi-truck and a pedestrian.
Investigators said a pedestrian was hit by a Mack Truck near the fuel island at the Sapp Bros.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries, officials said.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office said the pedestrian was identified as 70-year-old Skyler Norman.
The incident is still under investigation.
